Come out – Come out where ever you are…
Hmmmm let’s see… Poontater has not been up to much lately, just sort of slacking on the blogging side of things. Nothing too exciting, but here is a little summary for ya:

The foot is still healing. As of two days ago I started wearing shoes (well more like my Croc’s and slippers). Yup… you read that right. I have been wearing slippers to work and it’s awesome.
- We had snow and 86 degree’s in the same week and it was GREAT.
- I saw Watchmen and thought it completely SUCKED (in my opinion) and it was about 2.5 hours too long.
- SRR and I are going out for our first Meet-Up tomorrow night and I am very excited. We are meeting the Cary/Raleigh area 20’s/30’s couple for dinner and some drinks.
- I was in the slumps after being off my medication for almost 3 weeks and the world completely sucked. But I am back on it now and things are only half sucking.
- SRR and I are going to Jacksonville in 3 weeks to watch Supercross live and I cannot wait. I love having something so awesome to look forward to.
- I went in for my physical yesterday and apparently I am SUPER DUPER healthy. I have no early signs of diabetes, high blood pressure or heart problems (other then that my heart beats much slower then an average person, which I already knew). My cholesterol was perfect. This made me super happy; because diabetes and high blood pressure runs in my family history and being overweight I was a little concern. But this is GREAT news.
I guess that’s pretty much it. See, told you it was nothing too exciting. Now that I am out of the slump’s I will be more active on poontater.com – stay tuned!

See.. I happen to be married to an amazingly funny and creative husband (and he is SUPER cute/handsome as well). I get to experience this awesomeness on a daily basis and it is GREAT… but I think it is time for me to share him with the rest of the world…
Please meet Sir Robbie Rob and make sure to have a box of kleenex handy to wipe away those tears you will get from laughing so hard. Oh and please make sure to spit out or swallow any liquid you might have in your mouth.

With everything that is going on with the economy and job’s today I was a little awed to come across this job opening and of course would LOVE to have it.
The job description is;
“You’ll be required to report back on your adventures to Tourism Queensland headquarters in Brisbane (and the rest of the world) via weekly blogs, photo diary, video updates and ongoing media interviews. On offer is a unique opportunity to help promotethe wondrous Islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Other duties may include (but are not limited to Feed the fish – There are over 1,500 species of fish living in the Great Barrier Reef. Don’t worry – you won’t need to feed them all. Clean the pool – The pool has an automatic filter, but if you happen to see a stray leaf floating on the surface it’s a great excuse to dive in and enjoy a few laps. Collect the mail – During your explorations, why not join the aerial postal service for a day? It’s a great opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of the reef and islands. Tourism Queensland is seeking applicants for the best job in the world! The role of Island Caretaker is a six-month contract, based on luxurious Hamilton Island in the Great Barrier Reef. It’s a live-in position with flexible working hours and key responsibilities include exploring the islands of the Great Barrier Reef to discover what the area has to offer.”
The pay is $150,000 AUD which is about 100K USD – not too bad for 6th months worth of living in paradise.

What’s the difference between Frustration-Free Packaging and traditional packaging?
The Frustration-Free Package (on the left) is recyclable and comes without excess packaging materials such as hard plastic clamshell casings, plastic bindings, and wire ties. It’s designed to be opened without the use of a box cutter or knife and will protect your product just as well as traditional packaging (on the right). Products with Frustration-Free Packaging can frequently be shipped in their own boxes, without an additional shipping box.

The most common reason for an order containing multiple items to arrive in more than one box is when the products ordered are being sent from different locations.
What if I want to send this item as a gift?
Frustration-Free Packages ship in their original boxes, without an additional box for shipping. If you want the contents of your package to remain a surprise to the recipient, you should select the ‘Gift Wrap’ option during check out. Your gift-wrapped package will be sent in an additional Amazon shipping box. Congrats to me… Congrats to me…
Yup! I got a job. Not just any job, but a job with a great company that covers most of my wants and needs. So far I love my new boss’ and everyone I have met. Today was my first day and it started with a New Hire Orientation for half the day, then I was escorted to my new desk to clean it out (it did not look like the last girl that was there cared too much about being cleaned and organized), so I spent a few hours settling in and walking around meeting people. Everyone is down to earth and very warm. Even though I miss my old peeps, I really look forward to meeting new people and starting a new journey. I also feel like there is a lot of room for growth, which is super exciting… because it would be growth towards what I have always wanted to do (medical field).
Any who… I am sure you guys will be hearing more about my lovely job in the near future. Just had to share my happy news!!!
